My aim is for you to stop smoking and never look back. When you stop smoking by hypnosis you also gain strategies and solutions. Equipping you for any fears or concerns you may have about life without cigarettes, nicotine or vaping.

You may wish to quit vaping or smoking for health reasons. You may be now fed up of cigarettes influencing your life and your decisions. Often smoking can be the ‘go to’ coping mechanism for stress or other life challenges. Smoking might have been a way to have a few minutes of ‘me time’ or formed a part of socialising. If you have moved to vaping, this may now also be a 'crutch' at those times.

When you stop smoking by hypnosis you get a fully holistic approach. Together we will ensure you have all you need to not only cope but in fact do really well without cigarettes and nicotine. On this expert programme you will discover motivation and healthy strategies and tools you can use for anything you had previously looked to get from smoking. 

Why this is different from other smoking cessation programmes.

The programme is for two sessions and a total of just over two and half hours face to face session time. Many hypnotherapists claim they can stop you smoking or vaping in a one-hour session. I could too, but I prefer that your quitting truly sticks. I work hard to help you feel confident that you will stop smoking not just for today, but long term. Together we ensure you have everything in place to feel confident about daily life without smoking or vaping.  

We look at the underlying causes of your smoking and why it may have been hard to quit.  We focus, in particular, on the role cigarettes have created for themselves in your life and the underlying subconscious reasons for your habit. 

 

During the programme, yes, you stop smoking by hypnosis, but also benefit from a broader approach. Together we will create strategies and a plan for those situations in which you used to have a craving to smoke. Expert hypnotherapy will help you gain tools to separate from the habit and feel less desire to smoke.

Your stop vaping and smoking programme

There is no requirement to talk by phone before you come. If you vape only, get in touch, since this programme may be right for you or we may need to take a different approach. A conversation is helpful so I can get to hear more about your smoking. You can also ask any question you have. If you are happy to proceed, we arrange a time for your first session.

 

I will ask you to keep a diary of your smoking for a few days and also to fill in a helpful background questionnaire.

 

Your first session is for 90 minutes, though I suggest allowing up to two hours, in case we overrun. During this session we discuss, in-depth, your habit. We form a plan for 'trigger' situations and plan for your future success. You will also have hypnosis to help you reduce cravings and dependency on nicotine and increase your motivation to quit.

 

Your ‘quit’ session is normally one week after session one. This second session lasts 50 minutes. It is mostly powerful hypnotherapy, uniquely tailor-made to the nature of your habit. You also benefit from free, unlimited, email contact between sessions.

 

This is my standard two session programme. Clients with concerns about stress, anxiety, weight gain or any challenges connected to their smoking, will sometimes book one or two additional sessions.

I never imagined that I would ever be able to say this, but thank you so much Jason for helping me to feel more comfortable with flying. I have just returned from my trip to Dubai and to my complete surprise, I was noticeably calmer in the time leading up to the flight and managed bouts of turbulence really well. In the past, very mild turbulence would send me into a complete frenzy. I kept waiting for that sinking feeling in my stomach, the sweaty palms and the tears, but it didn't come. Although I was still very aware of my surroundings and the noises on the flight, I did not feel the same panic or alarm as I usually would; instead, it was more a curiosity in what was happening. I was able to eat, watch a film (put headphones on!!!) and sleep, things I could only dream of doing before. Thank you for making the world a whole lot bigger for me - Japan next!!! 🙂

I found my sessions with Jason very useful and he helped me understand the connections between triggers and the negative behaviours I was keen to cut out.Through the hypnotherapy I believe I have been able to create more negative connotations with these behaviours which have led me to avoid situations and triggers which could lead to relapsing into these negative behaviours.Jason is very reassuring and helpful and I felt comfortable during our sessions and I would recommend him if you are trying to break or change some of your addictive behaviours.

I had fear of heights. It is really not that easy to cure and to get rid of. I thought about hypnosis and after 3 sessions it is gone! I'm in mountains now and where previously I was unable to walk - I don't feel any negative emotions now! So it worked for me!

I have smoked and then vaped for 20 years. Fighting the cravings has always been the hardest part of successfully quitting permanently.Jason is professional and calm. We talked through all the reasons why I was smoking/vaping, and actually going through this made me realise some things I had never actually thought about. It wasn't nicotine. It was other things! Then, hypnotherapy was a highly recommended experience that changes your mindset. I left the session and have not had the desire to vape since! Anyone who is wants to stop vaping / smoking - go do this. I have already recommended Jason to other friends - he was great!

I went to Jason for around 6 months to get help with some issues I was looking to overcome.We actually didn't do any hypnotherapy as I wasn't sure how comfortable I felt, and Jason assured me we didn't have to; however, if I were to do it again I'd certainly like to give it a try.The sessions helped me enormously and I learnt a lot about myself and the reasons as to why I do certain things. Whether that was through conversations over a series of sessions with Jason, or through reading material he recommended outside of our sessions.I also really enjoyed them, because I felt I was talking to a friend more-so than a therapist, and I think that's one of the key differentiators between Jason and other therapists i've had; is that he helps you feel comfortable in discussing things that would often seem uncomfortable.I would absolutely recommend Jason to anyone seeking therapy and will seek him out myself the next time I feel the need for counselling.Thanks again Jason!

I had a couple of sessions with Jason for a severe fear of heights. After just a few days after the first session I was able to climb up ladders/walk along scaffolding without any concern whatsoever. I am yet to try larger challenges but I can tell already that the sessions have significantly helped me!
