About Jason Demant’s quit alcohol hypnosis sessions
You are reading this because you or someone you care about is drinking too much. You may drink socially or alone. You may have drunk alcohol when younger with friends and family. Yet now alcohol has become something you too easily go to when you need to escape or relax.
Do any of the follow sound liked your situation? If you experience any of the items listed below, on a regular basis, you may have a dependency on alcohol. You are not alone, I am here to help you change your drinking. Quit alcohol hypnosis can really help.
- Do you feel guilt, shame or embarrassment about your drinking or its consequences?
- Do you find it hard to socialise or relax without a drink?
- Have people annoyed you by criticizing your drinking?
- Have you ever had a drink first thing in the morning to steady your nerves or get over a hangover?
- Have you continued to drink even though it was making you feel depressed, anxious or affecting another health problem?
- Do you use alcohol to numb emotions or to stop feeling unpleasant feelings?
- Have there been situations where you ended up drinking much more than you intended?
- Have you gotten into situations with the potential of harming yourself or others (for example drinking and driving) or you have been in trouble with the law due to alcohol-related problems?
My approach combines practical psychological strategies, hypnotherapy, talking therapy, CBT-informed techniques and NLP. We work both with why the addiction developed and what keeps it going today.
Often hypnotherapy is seen as a quick fix. Yes, hypnotherapy can be particularly useful. Though my approach is about in-depth work to really make change happen.
Reducing alcohol consumption takes a number of sessions. Though hypnotherapy is a key treatment, sessions are about broader and deeper changes in confidence, and discovering how to live life to the full without alcohol. Learning to change that almost automatic decision to have a drink.
Fees & working together
Your first 50-minute session is £125. This gives us time to understand your situation and what's happening and start working positively together.
For Alcohol reduction, I usually recommend working over four, six or 12 sessions. This gives us time to address both the immediate habits and patterns and some of the deeper causes behind it.
4 sessions — £440
6 sessions — £600
12 sessions — £1,150
You don't need to decide in advance. We can use the first session to think together about what would be most useful for you. You can also come for your first session and make that the first of a block booking. You can also pay in instalments. You are welcome to come for more sessions beyond six or 12, if you wish.

Do you have a dependency on alcohol?
You may drink a few too many glasses of wine or you may feel that you have developed an alcohol dependency.
There are several theories about what creates alcohol dependency. Is it genetic, inherited from one generation to the next? Is it the result of early childhood or cultural attitudes to alcohol? Is it related to other mental health issues?
My approach is to view you as capable and fully able to make choices about whether to drink or not. As such we will work together, helping you to overcome cravings and reduce your drinking patterns. I use hypnosis and expert therapy exercises to support your changes.
There can be shame associated with alcohol as well. Often drinking can be a secret, kept from others. I can help you address all aspects of your alcohol consumption habit. I listen and support. I never judge anything you have done or anything you might say.
Quit alcohol hypnosis and changing your relationship with alcohol
The main work we will do together is examining your relationship with alcohol. What is the role that alcohol has begun to play in your life? How do you use it? Do you use it to help you socialise or ‘do well’ at work or in social situations?
Do you find that you reach for a drink when stressed? Do you feel more confident and less self-conscious after a few drinks?
We will look at the underlying reasons for your drinking habit. You may find that the underlying issues also really need to be addressed.
For example, has alcohol begun to function as your way of avoiding important life issues? Do you ever use alcohol to numb yourself or suppress emotions and feelings that are uncomfortable?
Hypnotherapy can really help you change your realtionship with alcohol. Together we will find new ways for you to do well with challenges and thereby reduce the role of alcohol in your life. You may decide whether reducing consumption is the goal or complete abstinence is preferable. This is something we decide together and ultimately is your decision. Using quit alcohol hypnosis, you will soon find new ways to cope with life's ups and downs.
Alcohol withdrawal support
If you consume alcohol on a regular basis, decreasing or stopping drinking may require a plan.
Withdrawal symptoms can be physical and psychological. If you drink heavily, you may experience hand tremors (‘the shakes’), sweating, anxiety, restlessness or insomnia (difficulty sleeping), for example. It can take a number of weeks to fully recover if you have a high level of alcohol consumption.
Even if you are a moderate drinker, you may also experience some withdrawal symptoms. Often these will be more emotional and psychological than physical. This is since you have developed some emotional dependency on alcohol. It is important to deal with these too. Hypnosis can be used to help you find new ways to cope and feel in control again.
Living life fully and confidently
You were not born needing alcohol to function. It is time to find alternative ways to deal with life’s ups and downs. It is also important to consider other ways to relax and nurture your well-being.
Alcohol can be used to avoid addressing and working towards those things you truly want out of life. Without alcohol, I will support you, if needed, to re-discover confidence and remind yourself of all those goals you once wanted and those gifts you have to give to the world around you.
Hypnotherapy can really help you move from dependency or addiction. This will signal for you a movement in a positive and optimistic direction. I hope my London hypnotherapy session will help you make those changes. Quit alcohol hypnosis could be just what you need.

Four, six and 12 powerful sessions of coaching, including therapy exercises and powerful hypnotherapy.
Though there is some structure, it is vital that sessions are about your unique needs rather than a generic approach. I have a results-driven focus. Hypnotherapy sessions are confidential and supportive and it is also important that you feel comfortable and able to talk about anything at all.
Quit Alcohol Hypnosis Sessions
I give you free, unlimited, email contact between sessions. Be in touch as often as you need.
I am interested both in what lies underneath the problem and in helping you make practical changes now.
We'll look carefully at when you drink, what triggers the desire, the role of alcohol and what alcohol gives you psychologically or emotionally. We'll also work on practical ways of managing cravings, changing routines and dealing differently with difficult moments.
As the work develops, we may discover other things that need our attention. These could be anxiety, confidence, relationships, loneliness, stress, earlier experiences or patterns in how you cope with uncomfortable feelings.
