Key Services – North West London Quit Smoking Clinic

Do you feel it’s time to quit smoking?

I want you to quit and feel confident that you will stay quit long term.

Have you tried to quit before or smoked for many years?

We will ensure that you overcome the reasons why smoking became and remained a habit for you. I provide powerful hypnotherapy together with NLP (Neuro-linguistic programming) and coaching to ensure you quit.

Where my programme differs from that of other hypnotherapists is the support I provide, both by email and phone, between sessions. I also ensure that you have a clear plan to cope with withdrawal and cravings and have everything in place so that you successfully transition to becoming a non-smoker and stay quit.

Quitting smoking will be for you about fresh energy and creating a new exciting phase in your life and certainly not about giving anything up or feeling you are losing a needed crutch. We will ensure that all aspects of your habit are considered. Your health, skin, breathing and wellbeing will soon begin to feel refreshed. You will be the one in charge, not the cigarettes.

The Programme

My quit smoking programme is for two sessions and I strongly recommend a third session,

so that you have all you require and are fully supported.

Your first session lasts for approximately 90 minutes to two hours. We discuss your habit in detail, your coping strategies and the role smoking has played for you over the years. You will also enjoy motivating hypnotherapy to help you feel less dependency on nicotine. Your second session is your hypnotherapy quit session and lasts 55 minutes and we will discuss withdrawal and cravings as well. A third session is recommended so you have all you need to stay quit.

I want you to have the support you need during this time of transition to becoming a non-smoker. I am in touch between sessions and even when your sessions are complete, I am available by email or phone, at no extra charge.

Get in touch today for your free initial phone consultation during which you will find out more about my quit smoking programme. Call or send me an email today and I am always happy to answer all questions or concerns you may have.

Does It Work?

Here are the words of some happy clients. Of course success is always dependent on your level of commitment to giving up smoking.

  • "Jason, you have been very helpful. Changing negative habits for positive ones is really the key. The meditation exercises were great. But the most effective thing is to have someone to talk to. Rarely do you find somebody who takes you by the hand and shows you a way out. My breathing capacity has increased and this changes my whole personality. My children came last night and they asked me whether I have done a face-lift. Of course, the skin looks much better without a veil of smoke and depriving the cells of oxygen and vitamin C. I also became much more assertive."
  • “It's been about 4 months and I'm still a non-smoker! I was away this weekend and people around me were smoking and I had that old craving but it was different and I really wasn't tempted at all. Thanks Jason.”

When smokers quit – What are the benefits over time?

Below are just a few of the benefits of quitting smoking for good. Quitting smoking lowers the risk of diabetes, lets blood vessels work better and of course helps your heart and lungs. Quitting while you are younger will reduce your health risks more, but quitting at any age can give back years of life that would be lost by continuing to smoke.

20 minutes after quitting Your heart rate and blood pressure drop.
12 hours after quitting The carbon monoxide level in your blood drops to normal.
2 weeks to 3 months after quitting Your circulation improves and your lung function increases.
1 to 9 months after quitting Coughing and shortness of breath decrease; cilia (tiny hair-like structures that move mucus out of the lungs) start to regain normal function in the lungs, increasing the ability to handle mucus, clean the lungs, and reduce the risk of infection.
1 year after quitting The excess risk of coronary heart disease is half that of a continuing smoker’s.
5 years after quitting Risk of cancer of the mouth, throat, esophagus, and bladder are cut in half. Cervical cancer risk falls to that of a non-smoker. Stroke risk can fall to that of a non-smoker after 2-5 years.
10 years after quitting The risk of dying from lung cancer is about half that of a person who is still smoking. The risk of cancer of the larynx (voice box) and pancreas decreases.
15 years after quitting The risk of coronary heart disease is that of a non-smoker’s.
